Who I Work With
Independent Professionals, Small Business Owners & Their Teams

On this page:

The people I work with are passionate about their business, and equally as committed to living a well integrated, balanced life. 90% of the people I work with are parents (men and women). Many have younger children and run their business from home. Others are at the other end of the spectrum. Their children are in high school, or just heading off to college. Either way, they want to be present and available for their families when needed, and to earn an excellent living building a business that makes a difference.

The men and women I work with are professionals. They take pride in their work and are dedicated to improving the lives of their clients and customers. They take a win-win approach to their business transactions. Their work has a direct, positive impact on the people and businesses they serve; it expresses, quite literally, their purpose in life. (Yet, it's not the everything of their life.)

This same drive may get them into trouble at times. Their drive to be of service and to be the best at what they do may cause them to short-change themselves:

  • They may unknowingly undervalue their talents, time and services.
  • They may crave order and discipline, yet resist it to protect their creativity.
  • They may be so good at what they do that they wait too long before hiring others to help them
  • They may overextend themselves and say yes when they wanted to say no.
  • Every doubt they've ever had about themselves seems to surface at the most inopportune times.

Does any of what you've just read describe you? Read on to find out what I mean by values-driven.

Why Values-Driven? What does it mean?

Times they are a-changing. We've seen a global breakdown of institutions headed by people who were more focused on immediate gratification than on long-term sustainability. However, values-driven does not mean sacrifice! It's an "and" equation: profit and service, profit and integrity, profit and a personal life, profit and meaningful, etc.

Even though building a successful business enterprise takes a great deal of time and effort you - and it - will not thrive unless you also take care of yourself.

Should you schedule a 45-minute coaching interview with me?

If you see yourself in my description of kind of business men and women I work with, and you're experiencing one or more of the challenges I've described, is it time to give me a call? I ask you do just do one more thing before you call, if you don't mind. Review the checklist of success characteristics below.

Clients are likely to be successful working with me if...

1. You are determined and committed to your success. You have knowledge of basic business concepts and the ability to use today's technology to support you.

2. You have a track record of success. You know that what you offer helps others. You are known by your clients as someone who knows what you're doing. You're a professional with a professional level of expertise.

3. You place a high value on integrity, communication and responsiveness. This is something you look for from your own clients and demand from yourself. When something doesn't work for you, you are comfortable communicating with others and do everything you can to restore good will.

4. You have the wisdom to know that significant change takes time and have the ability to commit to working with a coach for 6-12 months. You have both feet planted firmly in your business and take a long-term view. Without this, I can't guarantee you'll reach your objectives.

Does this sound a lot like you? Are you ready to take action?

quoteYou have made a real difference in my life this year and I want to thank you. Most recently, the combination of the Master Calendar 2.0 (so noted as it is the 2nd time I have undertaken it) and my new mind set you helped me acquire regarding money have been real paradigm shifts. I am feeling more confident each day that I am on the right track. Thanks again.

quoteI didn't realize I had the beliefs that "networking sucks" and "I can't/am not able to talk about what I do." I didn't realize I had those beliefs and didn't realize how much those beliefs were in my way. ... It's gone and I feel the difference. I really do, I feel the difference in my body, there is a softening and a relaxing in my chest and belly and something that feels a little bit like excitement or anticipation bubbling up... How cool!

I'm thankful I met you.close quote
